Pregnancy Update

I went to the doctor this week for an ultrasound - the doctor wants to do a couple of ultrasounds now that we're nearing the end so that he can get a good idea whether to suggest another c-section or a VBAC. At the appointment they told me Gavin weighs a little over 5 pounds and he has lots of hair:) You could see it on the ultrasound screen - so cute! The little guy was head down and facing away from the camera so the tech wasn't able to get any pictures of his face to send home with me. But she tried! :)
I do have to start taking a medicine to help with my gestational diabetes. It'll help to keep my sugar numbers down - I poke 4 times a day to see what the number is - and by keeping the numbers down, it helps baby's size not get as large. It's very typical that gest. diabetes babies are larger and Taden was good size (8.8) but he didn't end up being huge,(recently heard of a 13 pounder!!!) so we'll see what Gavin ends up at :) These weeks are going by quick - he'll be here before we know it! Can't wait to hold him and see him!
